2007 - Commercial Classics
pieceof8.png The TV ads of our adolescent years were entertaining, silly, ridiculous, creative and memorable. Old jingles, caricatures, slogans, pitchman and pitchwomen have burrowed into our consciousness, perhaps for life. These ear worms show that an entertaining or catchy commercial can get and hold one's attention. The old Madison Avenue creators of sales messages were poets, artists, as well as entertainers. We recall some of their work in our 2007 series entitled, Commercial Classics.
