| Comments: | Although I did not graduate with my class mates, some who I knew from whitman grade school for eight years, I do have fond memories of the Pirate. I should have graduated with you in 60 but moved to Seattle in 59. I did however attend a reuion that was for a multipul of classes. This was great as my older sister and her husband also graduate from John Rogers. The web site is great. I see many who I remember and wish you all well. I also see a number of names of folks I remember who are no longer with us. Let us remember them kindly and thank our maker for being able to still be here and enjoy the rewards of our life. I am now married with two daughters. My youngest daughter is married and just made my wife and I grandparents in January. Best Regards to all. |

| Comments: | It was the "Best Hair style award" :-) Actually I have been working on the board of directors of the Miss Tri Cities Scholarship Program for 38 years and was awarded a nice plaque at the Pageant on Saturday night July 17th.. I have helped with audio production and have photographed many of them over all these years. The Miss Tri Cities Program is a preliminary to the Miss Washington Program and the Miss America Pageant. |

I now live with my husband Eddie here in Spokane with our cats, Hubie, Buzzie & Ms Gunderson, we have 3 grown children, Donovan, Renate\' & Brandon. I am a retired Graphic Artist, Freelance writer for Horse Magazines, Newspapers & Rodeo Promotion person. I have lived a very interesting life, the different fields I have worked in gave me the opportunity to travel & meet people from all over the US and Canada. At this point in 2004 I am now helping my husband in his business as a Professional Horse Trainer, the bulk of our business is training Reining Horses for Show & Non Pro rider Instruction, in this field we travel & get a lot of exercise. We only have one grandson at this point but are hoping for more. During our off time we enjoy going to watch our son, Donovan a PRCA rodeo cowboy, ride Saddle Bronc horses, spend time with our family & friends, collect vintage Cowboy & Western items, and Native American Art. I still enjoy artwork, and spend some of my evenings working on Indian beadwork, sewing, photo manipulation and some computer art. I try to ride my horse 5 days a week to keep in shape, but often times miss a few days, but think riding has kept me in pretty good shape for the shape I\'m in. |

After the tour, I was glad to see a lot of the familiar still there, having thought, after I heard there was a remodeling, that a lot of memories would be just that. But, I also liked the changes. Speaking as a teacher of youths, those I saw hanging around in the late afternoon on a Friday made me feel good that the old Pirate Ship is still in good hands with a good crew. When I get back Thursday, I'll begin to re-form this Web site into a class of '60 scrapbook and communication site. Last Tuesday, the company that hosts our new (free) message board apparently was acquired, sold, or merged. Our message board disappeared in the shuffle. This guest book is it until I can get home and fix it or replace it. One of the goals in attending this reunion was to be able to recognize an alumnus on the street. I would love to encourage those of you who couldn't come this time to really try to come to the next one. I was nice to see all the remodeling the School Dist. is doing the auditorium is going to be great when its done. | Comments: | Retired from teaching for 34 years, my district offered a buyout and I took it along with most of my friends. We moved to Sonoma County from Pleasanton, California two years ago.
